About me

What I do

Wellbeing and satisfaction in the workplace has declined rapidly over the last decade.

Professionals are finding it harder to balance their personal and professional selves and what they want to achieve in these different environments. Work often impacts life and vice versa, however workplaces are not well equipped to support employees with getting this balance right. Too often there is a focus on 'work' and not 'life' as an accurate and holistic representation of an individual

I'm here to fill this gap and support you to find that balance, wherever you are in that journey.

Athletes, leaders and celebrities all have coaches. They all have goals they need help achieving and they all want to perform and be the best versions of themselves both personally and professionally.

Why shouldn't we, as professionals, do the same?

Why I do it

There is always a why behind what we do.
Mine is simple, I went through it myself.

I hit a period of burnout during my time as a management consultant. Just like the next overachieving consultant I was constantly on the go, running at 200 miles an hour and juggling many priorities both in my personal and professional life. My time on leave compelled me to take stock of what my needs really were.

During this time I came across coaching and realised I could use my passion for wellbeing at work to help others achieve their own hygge. I qualified with The Coaching Academy and used my time coaching clients to understand more about what people needed in this modern day professional environment. Coaching has empowered me to practice what I preach, make progress towards my own goals and be a supporter of change in others.

How I do it

I believe in creating an environment based on trust, empathy and openness. I'm here to support, motivate and inspire you; and I'm also here to challenge you and hold you accountable for your own journey and actions.

Here are a few words and phrases that I like to live by and integrate into my coaching approach

Trust is a two way street and I must earn it and treat it with respect

Empathy and compassion can go a long way in connecting with others

Sometimes, challenge can help us look at things a different way

Breaking issues or goals down can help things feel more manageable

Often, someone on the outside can help us see things from a different angle

Patience is a virtue and self-compassion is often necessary to move forward
